Axxis Ultimate Brake Pads - Why you need them!!

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

I decided to post a short article I found about Axxis Brake pads and why they are superior to OEM pads.  This article explains what they are, what they are made of and why they are critical.  Ive run these pads on several vehicles ive owned and will continue using them on future projects as well.

Axxis Ultimate brake pads feature a special Kevlar® and ceramic-strengthened formula with a high co-efficient of friction and excellent high temperature wear and fade resistance. Axxis Ultimate brake pads are designed for ultra-high performance driving and hard-braking applications, Axxis Ultimate brake pad users will benefit with extreme stopping power and high resistance to brake fade at high temperatures, meaning the decrease in friction over repeated heavy duty stops, as the temperature increases, is minimal. Axxis Ultimate brake pads boast a maximum continuous working temperature of 550° C (1022° F degrees). Axxis Ultimate brake pads provide consistent braking throughout its operating temperature range; you’ll get dependable, predictable stops time after time while maintaining a solid pedal feel.

Stoptech Performance Brake Upgrades…

Monday, February 26th, 2007

Since I last posted an article about our Stoptech Brake Upgrades, we have not been able to keep them on the shelves.  You can’t beat the performance and price of buying the kit, instead of buying all the components separately.  You get 4 Rotors, Front and Rear Pads, Stainless Brake Lines, and Brake Fluid, all in one box, all made for your car, and all for less than you can by them individually.

Anyways, if you have purchased one of these kits from Stoptech, shoot me an email and let me know what you think about it, i’d like to post the reviews here for all of our readers to see.  Email any reviews to Justin@injectedperformance.com and ill get them posted.

Stoptech Brake Upgrades - Best value braking performance available!!!

Friday, November 17th, 2006

My Denali needed new brakes so i got to looking around for the parts i needed and the whole time i was wishing Stoptech made one of their Stage 2 Upgrade Kits for my truck.  Seriously, these kits are great.  They come with slotted rotors, Street Performance Pads, Stainless Steel Brake Lines, and a few bottles of Motul RBF600 Brake Fluid. This may not sound like that big of a deal to some, but price all that seperately and then price an Upgrade Kit, it seriously saves you some money, and its from Stoptech, so you know its high quality.

Each kit is designed to replace all four corners of your car.  By adding slotted or drilled rotors, you will prevent glazing of your brake pads, which will improve wet and dry braking performance.  StopTech’s SportStop Rotors include a protective black coating on the hub to prevent corrosion.  Stainless Steel Brake Lines increase pedal feel and reduce the time between pedal pressure and deceleration caused by brake engagement.  The stock rubber lines, flex during braking causing loss of performance as the steel lines stay intact.  Additionally, the Motul RBF600 increases the boiling point of your brake fluid ensuring a higher standard in brake performance.
