Performance Parts Reviews needed!!

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

Im going to start posting reviews of perfomance parts on here and would like to post at least one review daily.  In order for that to happen, I need you to let me know what you think about the aftermarket parts you have on your car.  Step back, take a look at it, and shoot me a quick email with your thoughts on any or all of the parts you’ve added to your car.  If you’re going to include multiple reviews in a single email, seperate them by a few spaces and send them to Justin@injectedperformance.com

So, start thinking about it and let the people know what works and what doesnt, and let the manufacturers know how they can improve on their product.  Include things like, before and after thoughts, install time, and then compare the price to the benefit and let us know if that part was worth it in your opinion. No matter if it’s performance, interior, or exterior, let us know what you think about it.

Thanks,

Justin

Project M3 is complete!!

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

We have finished our BMW M3 project and it is now ready for the SEMA show in November.  This was a tough build because we had to go a step further than just adding a body kit, we cut the roof off of the car.  Never fear though, we successfully installed the carbon fiber roof, hood, and trunk lid with minimal fitment issues that were easily resolved.  The 19″ wheels, the sparcos, the black grill, and some of the paint work all added up to a wild, yet very clean show car. The Supercharger, exhaust, and big brake kit make it possible for the performance to match the looks.  The car posed a whole new set of challenges than the Japanese cars we have spent the mojority of our time building, but all in all, it was a great learning experience and we look fwd to building another European car in the near future.  Heres a few pictures of the car and more will be posted when we get our photographer in town to shoot the professional shots.

Our Mazda just got a Stoptech Brake Upgrade.

Friday, June 23rd, 2006

It just came in.  The Stoptech Stage 2 Brake Upgrade Kit.  We decided to go with this kit over the Stoptech Big Brake Kit because the car will be mostly street driven and we felt the big brakes may be overkill, despite their better performance.  The Stage 2 Upgrade will give us 4 new Brake Rotors, 4 Stainless steel brake lines, high performance brake pads, and better brake fluid.  Should be a noticeable difference between these and the stock braking system of the Mazda RX8. For the money, we couldnt go wrong.  If you were to buy these as OE parts from a dealership, they cost almost as much as the Stoptech Upgrade kit.  This is truly one of the most cost efficient upgrades we have planned and the RX8 should be a great example of what any tuner out there could build and have great performance on the street as well as be competitive on the track.  Ill let you know how they do once we get them installed.
