Sponsorships, get your letters ready.

Wednesday, December 20th, 2006

Some time back I wrote about what sponsorships are, the different levels of sponsorship, and how to go about getting them. You can find that article here- Sponsorship Truths.

Anyways, I wanted to remind everyone that the new year is almost here, which means you have to get your proposals together and get them out the door. The beginning of the year is when manufacturers make most of their sponsorship decisions, get yours in early, be sure yours is complete, and send lots of them out.  If your not sponsored yet, you may send out 100 proposals and only recieve 2 replies, dont get frustrated, just keep sending them.

For a last minute tip regarding what they want to hear, listen up.  The point of them giving you free or discounted performance parts, is to get their company name more exposure.  Make sure you can provide them with exposure.  Not only at shows and races, but online as well. For instance, if i post up your car here and list your sponsors, over 10k people will see it the first day its up.  Mention stuff like that, they want their name to be seen, make sure you can deliver and you will get the deals.

Performance Parts Reviews needed!!

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

Im going to start posting reviews of perfomance parts on here and would like to post at least one review daily.  In order for that to happen, I need you to let me know what you think about the aftermarket parts you have on your car.  Step back, take a look at it, and shoot me a quick email with your thoughts on any or all of the parts you’ve added to your car.  If you’re going to include multiple reviews in a single email, seperate them by a few spaces and send them to Justin@injectedperformance.com

So, start thinking about it and let the people know what works and what doesnt, and let the manufacturers know how they can improve on their product.  Include things like, before and after thoughts, install time, and then compare the price to the benefit and let us know if that part was worth it in your opinion. No matter if it’s performance, interior, or exterior, let us know what you think about it.

Thanks,

Justin

Our new search feature- pretty neat!!

Friday, October 13th, 2006

We added a new search feature at the bottom of the page that allows you to search Google, Injected Performance, Evo8, or this Blog.  I just thought i’d let you all know about it, its a pretty neat feature to help you narrow down your performance parts search.

Update on our Subaru STi project.

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

The car is 95% complete with the addition of the Chargespeed Body Kit, Sparcos, and Rotora Slotted Rotors installed.  We had to redo a lot of the paint, interior, and vinyl as well.  We pulled out the Ractive Gauges and Ractive seats and replaced them with Defi and Sparco, then installed some Sparco Harnesses.  The car was at NOPI over the weekend and we just got it back to the shop to add a few more little things before SEMA.  In addition to the stereo, the car will also be recieving some new performance goodies and a nice tune.  When we are done, we will have a car that will run great and draw a lot of attn at the shows. Heres some pics-

Project M3 is complete!!

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

We have finished our BMW M3 project and it is now ready for the SEMA show in November.  This was a tough build because we had to go a step further than just adding a body kit, we cut the roof off of the car.  Never fear though, we successfully installed the carbon fiber roof, hood, and trunk lid with minimal fitment issues that were easily resolved.  The 19″ wheels, the sparcos, the black grill, and some of the paint work all added up to a wild, yet very clean show car. The Supercharger, exhaust, and big brake kit make it possible for the performance to match the looks.  The car posed a whole new set of challenges than the Japanese cars we have spent the mojority of our time building, but all in all, it was a great learning experience and we look fwd to building another European car in the near future.  Heres a few pictures of the car and more will be posted when we get our photographer in town to shoot the professional shots.

The Mitsubishi EVO 9 is here!!!

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

Mitsubishi has stared delivery of its newest performance car, the EVO9.  While we have not had a chance to play with or even look at one of these new cars, we have been told that 90% of the parts off of the EVO8 will work on the new 9.  We know that the front bumpers are different and that the cams are probalby different as well.  Other than that, from what we are hearing, everything else is inter-changeable.  If you have a EVO IX or have any information about what fits and what doesnt fit from the EVO VIII, please leave me a comment or send me an email to Justin@injectedperformance.com
